REPORT CRIMES AGAINST SENIORS

Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County and the Seattle University Executive Leadership Program have partnered up to fight crime against seniors.

If you are a senior citizen and believe you may have become a victim of theft of abuse, or if you know a senior citizen who may be a victim, you now have an anonymous way to report crimes against seniors. By placing an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers, you can report crime against seniors without the fear of retaliation or feeling the embarrassment of being taken advantage of.

Crime Stoppers will take tips on suspects committing any of these common types of crimes against senior citizens:

  • Theft of money, goods, services, mail, credit cards, etc.
  • Financial fraud, including credit card theft and misuse, telephone or email solicitation scams, Medicare/Medicaid fraud
  • Physical abuse and neglect
  • Fraudulent service providers, including construction/home repair workers, caregivers, etc.
